Woyesa Woka

Sidama Regional Representative

Woyesa Woka is currently working as Sidama regional representative for Transparency International Ethiopia (TIE) since December 2021. He is also engaged as a volunteer at Great Commission Ministry Ethiopia, Leader Impact project, and Save the Children. Prior to that, Woyesa Woka worked at Addis Ababa University, Center for Human Rights as a legal aid provider officer (paralegal) for those in need. Woyesa Woka is very passionate about helping others and issues of social justice.

He graduated from Hawassa University with LLB in law with very great distinction and was awarded a gold medal for his outstanding academic achievement. While at University, he earned the 2021 exemplary student award (student of the year award) from the College of Law and Governance, Hawassa University for his exemplary academic performance, community service, volunteer work, and leadership skills. Woyesa Woka was also the president of Tomorrow People Charity Club and earned an honor award for his outstanding leadership skills and volunteer service back at law school.
