Woyneshet Aregawi is a project coordinator at Transparency International Ethiopia (TIE). Since July 2020, she is working in the position of Project Coordinator for the European Union Civil Society Fund III project entitled “Ensuring participation of actors for transparency and accountability of institutions to support the fight against corruption and promote democratic governance and rule of law in Ethiopia.”

Woyneshet Aregawi has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology, and a Master of Arts in Social Work from Addis Ababa University School of Social Work. Previously, she worked for a Canadian humanitarian organization, International Relief, as a Project Coordinator for 7 years on a community-based development project. In addition to her role at Transparency International Ethiopia (TIE), she is also currently engaged as a volunteer in the capacity of psychosocial counselor for orphan and vulnerable children in the project.
